About ASMRpress
ASMRpress is for people who like ASMR and want to understand it: what the tingles are, why a whisper works for one person and does nothing for the next, and how to use it to fall asleep.
What you'll find here
- Notes on ASMR: articles built on the published research, not on what everyone else repeats. Every claim links to the study behind it, so you can read it yourself.
- ASMR sounds: each trigger explained, from tapping to brown noise, with a few samples you can play right on the page.
- The Tingles ASMR guide: how each part of the app works, step by step, including fixes for the problems people ask about most.
Honest about the evidence
ASMR research is young, and most studies are small. When a finding is early, the article says so. A study that hasn't been peer reviewed yet is labelled as a preprint, and nothing here promises that ASMR will cure insomnia or anxiety. If the evidence is thin, you'll read that it's thin.
ASMRpress and Tingles ASMR
ASMRpress comes from the same ASMR fan who makes Tingles ASMR: Relax & Sleep, a free ASMR app for iPhone and Android published under the name InitiateHub. The articles are written to be useful whether or not you ever install it, and the app only comes up where it's relevant. Any comparison that includes Tingles ASMR says so at the top.
